BubbaLus Bodacious Burgers Classy Dogs in Hot Springs

My family and I came across this burger joint as we walked through Hot Springs. We entered with a group of hellos! We felt at home. It’s easy fried grub(and fancy hot dog/ huge!) My youngest got the kids meal with Pb&J sandwich. He devoured it but as he was saying how much he loved it ... he dropped some off n the floor! Lol kids right! I went up to order another sandwich. They told us no charge and the nice tall man built my son and triple decker PB&J! That was beyond nice! We honestly felt “family” when we walked in and really appreciated the hospitality. I give this place 5 stars for service, food and simply good, honest folks!

Stayed in Hot Springs with my family and picked Bubbalu's for dinner. We love the atmosphere and the food was great. What really made it great was the owners involved and interacting with guests and the staff was so friendly. Great family spot, I highly recommend trying this place out! 👍😁

Poor service !!! Called in an hour and went to pick it up but it was never made! I called 30 mins ahead of time! They didn’t even acknowledge me! Not friendly !

Had two classic burgers, fries, onion rings, and a kid's meal. Everything was wonderful!

I don't understand how anyone could give this place a bad review. Our burgers were so good! Seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had. Generous amount of fries (one order would definitely be enough for two people). Even my picky kids ate ALL of their food. And the service, exceptional. Very friendly, even brought my kids some ice cream for free just because! Owners are very welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction. Very clean facility and a comfy atmosphere.

My wife and I were going to the Hot Springs Bath house to soak and decided to eat first. Let me tell you I walked into Bubbalous as a stranger and 1 minute later was a friend. The owner Jeff and Ginger made Nancy and Ken feel like family and could not have ask for better food . better service nor better prices. Came back that evening to see the Christmas Parade decided to eat a hot dog just for a quick fix, WRONG that was a meal with onion rings, The restaurant is dog friendly they even fixed our dog Vanilla Ice cream on the house. We will be back more than likely for the bathtub races and will stop and see Jeff and Ginger again as well as eat there again. We will always feel like family when in Hot Springs .

Family and I were strolling downtown Hot Springs and walked into this fun little place. Smaller menu currently due to the “pandemic”, but we ordered burgers and chili cheese fries. Sat at the bar and watched them make everything. It was delicious. The friendliest, chillest people working, had some great conversation. Can’t wait to go back and visit, especially when the full menu is open, heard them discussing their BBQ pork nachos (that are on the full menu). Sounds like heaven in my mouth!! We’re originally from the KC area so we’re suckers for some good BBQ. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area.

Great food and great service! The restaurant is very clean. They made us feel very welcomed by checking on us several times and asking questions about our visit in the city. Gave us some local "things to do" suggestions and even hooked the kids up while waiting on our food. Awesome place!

Mom and pop little cafe with fresh Angus burgers and perfectly cooked fries and onion rings. We had a bit of a wait to order but after we sat down, staff member brought a free basket of fries to munch on while we waited. Would definitely eat there again!

We really lucked into this place! It's right across the street from the visitors center (historic Fordyce Bath House) of the Hot Springs National Park, and we were in search of something very close. It was busy, but the service was prompt and extremely friendly. We loved our food, the atmosphere, and getting to talk with other outgoing customers. I definitely recommend this little place!

Tasty burger joint. You are getting a homemade burger. No frozen patty here! Fries are hand cut. We got ours covered in gravy. The burgers were great! Great place to sit down and have a good meal.

I stopped by here after refreshing my body in the hot spring pools, and boy did this place refresh my soul.Anything with chili and cheese is highly recommended, chili in particular is perfect for topping hotdogs or fries. I also tried the onion rings, which seem to be hand battered, regardless also great.The staff couldn’t have been nicer, and the service was prompt without compromising the quality of the food.This doesn’t usually make the reviews but the other patrons were also exceptionally friendly, maybe it was just that Friday mood.I look forward to returning whenever I am in Hot Springs!!

It’s really great when you check the website and it says they are open until 7, so you drive 2 hours get there at 4 and they are closed. Very professional business. I’d like to brag about the food but I obviously didn’t get to eat there.

The food was really great but even more importantly the owners really went out of their way to make us feel like we mattered as customers. My son talked non-stop about him the entire way home because honestly in most places you don't get that personal touch anymore. If you are visiting I would highly recommend stopping here. It has a old time feel that you just don't get in many places, the food is great, and the owners are really nice. You really can't beat that.

Great All Around!!! Went in today, just looking for a decent burger dinner with my family, Jeff made the experience Great. He takes service to a whole new level. He was friendly with all of us, caring, all around great man.As for food, the cry baby burger was great, and I did shed a few tears. The young ones had hot dogs, they loved it. Wife had cheeseburger and loved it also.If you're ever near by, you will love it!

Did the whole tourist thing in downtown Hot Springs and a shop owner recommended Bubbalu's for dinner. Everyone in our family loved their food. The owner came to our table and personally thanked us for coming and shook our hands. Super nice guy!! We would definitely make a point to go back if we are ever in town again!

Want a decent burger or dog at a fair price? This is a good place in the heart of old downtown. The relish on the dogs is great. Cook everything fresh in front of you. Just a tad pricey for what you get but still very good.

Me and my family visited from Texas and I can easily say this was the tastiest burger I've had in a long time! You can tell they use fresh, quality ingredients and the customer service was wonderful. Definitely coming back for seconds!

Great food but when I asked if they had cups for tap water she said they only had bottled, which added ten bucks to my tab. Then I saw the water cooler and cups right next to my booth. Didn't appreciate the dishonest upsell.

Great service, nice place to stop in for a great old fashioned hot dog! I had the chili cheese dog with grilled onions and onion rings and it was great! Check em' out!

Bubbalu's never fails me. One of the best burger joint I've ever been to. The sourdough buns keep me coming. Friendly service.

Every welcoming environment and staff. The burgers are excellent and pretty large. The serving sizes on the fries and onion rings were huge and both tasted amazing! I will be a return customer everytime im in Hot Springs. Thank you for the great birthday meal!!

Top notch service! They have masks ready to wear for you to put on while you order instead of asking you to leave if you don’t have a mask- awesome! Burgers were delicious and fresh. The owner/manager (not sure) was so friendly and offered us ice cream and thanked us for coming in. It’s nice to feel appreciated instead of feeling like a burden and getting glared at for not having a mask. Will definitely go back! If you go, get the mint chocolate chip ice cream!

We ate at Bubbalus on Sunday before cheer competition. The staff/owners were amazing. They were so friendly and very welcoming. The food was delicious!! I am super picky about burgers and this was one of my favorites! My kids and husband really enjoyed it too. Will def be back! Thanks for the great service!!

Burgers are good until you realize the cook isn’t changing or washing hands after touching raw meat to actually make your sandwich. Cheese fries suck! It’s the fake nacho cheese or shredded non-melted cheese thrown into some fries. Then when approached she said her boss didn’t require her to be washing or changing gloves. Won’t be back

Came into town and picked this place because it was cheap and the food looked good in the pictures. Had a great atmosphere, the food was definitely great, and met the owner cleaning tables. He was super friendly and generous! After only a quick conversation it felt like we’d been friends for a while! Definitely come here if you like burgers or hot dogs or friendly faces!

the lady at the register was quick to be unhelpful. She rushed through our order when in fact no one was in line but us. She didn't offer a drink menu or even recommended any food or beverages. She didn't ask us how are food was and she did not seem very friendly at all to us. Our first time there and don't plan on going back. We sat at the front bar and witnessed her hospitality change when another couple arrived and took their order and seemed to give them very good service. You should treat everyone the way you'd want to be treated. Serve them the way you'd hope to be served. Years ago I worked in a restaurant or two and always treated everyone the same. Be knowledgeable, be understanding and proactive. Be aware and be patient.
